Pitney Bowes and Sprint Announce Cooperative Agreement; New Offering Features Discounts and Savings for Small Businesses

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 2000--Pitney Bowes Office Direct, a division of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), today announced that it has signed an agreement with Sprint Business, the division of Sprint (NYSE: FON) that markets productivity-enhancing products and services to business customers. As a value-added provider, Pitney Bowes Office Direct will offer discounts and savings on Sprint products and services to small businesses nationwide. For Pitney Bowes, the move is an important step toward offering a comprehensive suite of competitively priced small business solutions.

The program includes such Sprint services as discounted domestic and international long distance, flat rates on in-state calls, toll-free services and paging, along with special offers to Sprint customers on Pitney Bowes Office Direct mailing solutions.
